\omega1 limits of sequences of real functions
The talk will be suitable for a general audience.
Students are strongly encouraged to participate.
Abstract
Most important classes of real functions are not closed under pointwise limits.
(See e.g. continuous functions or Baire class one functions.)
But what happens if we consider longer sequences?
Then we obtain results that depend on some additional set-theoretical
assumptions.
