Title: Some recent progress on the Semi-Geostrophic system; existence, uniqueness and stability

Abstract: I will give a chalk & board talk in which I will present the Semi-Geostrophic system (modeling large scale, rotation dominated atmospheric flows), its derivation, and some recent analytical results. I will also mention some open problems along the way.
