Dr. Yang is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). She is a Coordinator of Actuarial Science program. Since 2015, Dr. Yang has been the faculty advisor for the actuarial student club. She advises, mentors, and supports students who are interested in pursuing actuarial career. She continuously networks with the actuarial organizations, insurance companies and actuarial consulting firms building long-term relationships, with the goal of helping students and graduates seek out actuarial internships and employment opportunities.
