Morgantown Algebra Days is a two-day Commutative Algebra conference which will be held at the West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV during April 13-14 (Saturday-Sunday) in 2019. It will feature eight research talks and a poster session for graduate students. The poster session will allow numerous young researchers to present their work to the Commutative Algebra community. Morgantown Algebra Days aims to bring specialists together working in Commutative Algebra or related fields and increase the interactions among regional researchers in the Mid-Atlantic and East North Central states.
The conference will take place at the Ming Hsieh Hall on Downtown Campus and it will provide lodging for two nights for as many participants as possible. Priority will be given to participants who have no other federal support and participants who are graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, or members of groups that are under-represented in the mathematical sciences.
